Sarah Chen leads privacy research at PrivacyOn, where she publishes step-by-step opt-out guides and tracks the ever-shifting landscape of the people-search industry. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and has spent more than a decade helping individuals and families regain control of their personal information. Before joining PrivacyOn, Sarah worked in consumer privacy operations, where she personally handled thousands of data-removal requests and built the removal playbooks still used across the industry today. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science and is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
